As the year is coming to an end, Team Zavier is busy collecting wristband money and looks like we will meet our $3,000 goal :) Here is what we will be using some of the funds for...
We have ordered and received our Team Zavier "Sleep Safe, Baby!" onesies. We have also received "Sleep Safe" pacifiers :) We plan on distributing these items (200 of each) along with SIDS information to new parents in a "With God's Grace Goodie Bag".
It is our hope that through our Zavier, we can help educate parents and possibly save a life, if not more.

With God's Grace...
Here's an update with a bit of a recap : )
SIDS claims the lives of thousands of babies throughout the world. SIDS is the sudden, unexpected death of an apparently healthy infant remaining unexplained after an autopsy, death scene investigation, and a medical history review.
Team Zavier is dedicated to Stop SIDS by promoting SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) awareness and educating parents and caregivers on how to Reduce the Risk of SIDS.
Currently, Team Zavier is creating With God's Grace Goodie Bags to distribute to new parents. Goodie Bags will include a Sleep Safe pacifier, a Sleep Safe, Baby! onsie and printed info on how to prevent SIDS. None of it would be possible without your support of Team Zavier's Wristband Campaign.

Reduce the Risk
Too many little lives are lost to SIDS. Although the cause of SIDS is unknown, we can reduce the risk to the babies in our lives.
Prevention is not always easy. A baby may fuss more on his or her back, take longer to fall asleep, wake up more frequently. Taking the steps necessary to Reduce the Risk is always worth it.
SIDS continues to claim lives. Let's do our part to keep the babies in our lives safe.

Team Zavier Update
Team Zavier has 284 teammates on our Facebook page : ) Please feel free to join our FB page - Team Zavier (Stop SIDS) if you have not done so already. We also encourage you to suggest our FB page to all your friends. We appreciate your support!
With your help, we’ve sold just about 1,000 bands and have raised over $2,000 to donate to the American SIDS Institute in January. We have 500 more wristbands coming in soon (next week) and have a new goal of raising $3,000.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month
In 1988, Former President Ronald Reagan designated October as Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
October 15 marks a day of Remembrance of our little ones who've become angels too soon. The day is observed with an International Wave of Light as candles are lit around the globe in memory of our babies.
Please join Team Zavier as we continue to pray for those families forever changed by the loss of a baby.

Happy Birthday, Baby Z!!
It is fitting that today, on Zavier's birthday, Team Zavier has officially reached our $2000 goal. Team Zavier has raised $2,148. We aren't stopping yet. We still have wristbands available and more are on the way. To all of you who have already got your wristbands or made a donation - Thank you for helping make this possible.
We plan to have wristbands available through the end of this year to make the largest donation possible to the American SIDS Institute on behalf of Team Zavier. Our ambition is to make Team Zavier/Stop SIDS wristbands an annual event.
We now have Team Zavier flyers available. So if anyone is interested in taking a few flyers and passing them out to your friends, family and others in your area, please leave a comment or message us via Team Zavier's Facebook page.
